This is my 8th year at Whittier.  I started out here many years ago as a scared little first grader. I went here through 2nd grade.  Now I am back as a teacher. I have come full circle.  My first 2 years as a student was wonderful. I had great teachers.  I hope to give my students the same positive experience.  Teaching 4th graders is very rewarding.  They are independent, inquisitive, and they still love their teacher. Teaching math and science is very challenging because we cover so much.  I love it when the students go "OHHH! I get it. That makes it all worth while.
